Childcare Openings
Do you enjoy caring for little ones? The church is looking to add some names to the child caregiver roster. Would you like to work part-time and have a flexible schedule? Days, evenings, weekends? These are paid positions, with variable hours. For example, you might be called upon to help during a weekday morning Bible study time, or baby-sit during an evening church dinner. If you are interested, download the application and return it to the Church Office. The address is on the top of the form. Interviews will take place in the next few weeks. Child protection training and a background check will be required. Applicants must be over the age of 18.

Nurture Meals
The Hudson United Methodist Women Nuture Committee coordinates meals to serve as a blessing to our church congregation throughout the year . Meals are provided for new babies, family medical conditions, family deaths, or other special needs. If you could use a meal, know someone in our church family who could use a meal, or are interested in providing a meal to others, please contact Melanie Balash, Sara Campbell, or Tracy Zappone.
Crib Room and Two's Room Staff
The church is in need of volunteers to staff the crib room and two's room during worship times. Starting with the fall church schedule on 8/28/11, three time slots are available each Sunday to assist in this important ministry: 9:00 and 11:10 worship and during the Sunday school hour around 10:15. You can select a standing time (such as 9:00 on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month) or volunteer for the substitute list. Opportunity open to teens and older. Music Opportunities
Chancel Choir and the Praise Team invite anyone and everyone who wants to sing in the choir or praise team to join in the fun !! The Praise Team is also currently looking for people to play guitar and drums. Please see Leigh Conti for Choir information and David Ross for more information on the Praise Team.
Wesley Bell Choir
The Wesley Bell Choir invites anyone interested in joining their group , whether you can read music or not. Rehearsals are Thursdays from 6:00 - 7:00 pm in the santuary. Contact Kay Peterson with questions.
Youth Bell Choir Forming
The Youth Bell Choir will be starting again this September. Rehearsals will be Sundays at 4pm for students in grades 6-12. An informational meeting is scheduled for Sunday, September 11 following the Faith, Family and Friends celebration or contact Dani Dietzel or Colleen Schloss.
Search for the Christ Child
Planning has begun for the 4th annual production of Search for the Christ Child which will be held Sunday, December 4th, 2011 from 5-7 pm at the church. Be a part of the experience as we journey to Bethlehem to find the Christ Child. This live event takes many volunteers to be successful. Please consider being a part of the planning team or participate as a member of the cast or production crew. To be a part of this moving experience, please sign up on the poster in the gathering area or contact Cheryl Gamble for more information.
Stephen Ministry Referrals
Our Stephen Ministers need your help with referrals. If you need a friend because you are going through a difficult time, let your pastors know. After speaking with you, the pastors will match you with a Stephen Minister who will arrange a meeting at a convenient time and place.
